Pilates is a full body workout done on specialized machines called the Pilates Reformer, Cadillac & Chair. Pilates not only strengthens your body, but it builds lean muscle, strengthens the Core and lower back, increases range of motion in all of the joints, improves spinal mobility and flexibility, and you’ll never ever have better posture. Think of Pilates as the workout that not only makes you strong but keeps you actively aging for years and years to come. Depending on your goals and other training activities, we suggest starting with 2-3 classes per week to get all the benefits! If you are looking to only do Pilates as your main workout, 3-5 times a week will keep you strong and healthy.
The best place to start is Pilates 101 or Reform 1. Both classes are designed to ease you into the world of workouts on the reformer and help educate you on the lingo we use in-house! Complete with a studio tour and machine overview.
Yay! Your are going to love it! Plan to arrive 5-10 minutes prior to the class start time. Our dedicated staff with prep you on the machine and provide more studio information. Grip socks are needed for class, we have fun pairs for purchase!
Athletic/Yoga Attire is most comfortable for the students. Leggings and a tank top is our staffs go to attire for class, wear something you feel your best in and can move well!
